Tony from 60 Days In Season 6

Tony

Season 6

For the past six years, Tony has served as a Detention Officer at Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail (Seasons 3 and 4). He’s confident that his insider knowledge, intense training, and thorough understanding of gang activity and inmate behavior make him the most qualified participant for “60 Days In” of all time.

A family man from a small southern town, Tony was attracted to the challenges and unpredictability of working in corrections. He has worked with some of the toughest criminals in Atlanta, and at 6’3″ tall and 250 lbs, this former college football star doesn’t scare easily. A firm but level-headed Detention Officer, Tony has zero tolerance for disrespect and commands attention when he enters a room.

Tony is an advocate for officer mental health and believes jails should provide officers with the support they need to stay mentally fit. He hopes to help the Etowah County Sheriff understand why the facility has trouble retaining officers. While undercover, Tony also wants to challenge the jail’s safety procedures and identify holes in the system, leaving the Sheriff with an improved safety plan.

Tony aspires to be a street SWAT officer. As a natural born leader, Tony says he’ll be running the pod at Etowah County Jail in no time.
