Wisconsin resident Steven Avery served 18 years in prison for a sexual assault conviction that was overturned in 2003. Two years after his exoneration, Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey were arrested for the murder of photographer Teresa Halbach – whose remains were found on Avery’s property.
