Florida high school student Amy Billig, 17, disappeared while hitchhiking to her father’s art studio in Coconut Grove. Despite extensive searches by authorities and her family over several decades, she was never found. The case officially remains unsolved, though a member of the outlaw Pagans biker gang confessed before his own 1997 death that the group had abducted, gang-raped and killed the girl before dumping her body into the Everglades.
