Arnold Schuster, a sharp-eyed clothing salesman whose tip led to the arrest of notorious bank robber Willie Sutton, was shot and killed outside his Brooklyn home by a lone gunman four weeks later. Despite suspicions linking the killing to Sutton associates as well as the Gambino crime family, the case was never solved.
