Over the course of 13 years until his arrest in 1991, Jeffrey Dahmer murdered at least 17 men. Most were young Black men he lured back to his home and then drugged and strangled before mutilating and sometimes cannibalizing them. He was convicted and received 15 consecutive life sentences. In 1984, he was beaten to death in a bathroom in a Wisconsin prison by a fellow inmate.
