Albert Fish was a serial killer, rapist and cannibal who was suspected of murdering and then eating as many as 10 children in 1920s New York. Six years after killing 10-year-old Grace Budd, he wrote a letter to her mother describing the crime as well as his subsequent cooking of the girl’s remains into a stew. The letter led to Fish’s arrest, his confession of other crimes and his execution by electric chair in 1936, at age 65.
