Steven

Tucson EMS

Steven was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and has been living in “The Dirty T” ever since. It may sound cliché but some kids grow up wanting to be professional athletes or musicians. Steven, on the other hand, knew he wanted to be a firefighter/paramedic his whole life. Some might say it was destiny or in his blood. His father is a Captain with the Tucson Fire Department and was the Fire Chief of South Tucson Fire Department. He grew up idolizing the work they did and wanted to follow in their footsteps. Steven has worked for Tucson Fire for over 5 years and has been a paramedic for almost 3. He considers himself very lucky to serve the community he grew up in and enjoys running into familiar faces on many occasions while at work. On his days off, he spends time with his girlfriend and their two dogs, taking walks or hanging at the dog park. He also enjoys playing basketball, going to the gym, or his newly found interest of keeping a green lawn which is no easy feat out there in the desert. Steven considers himself very blessed and still has that “Fire Bug.” He doesn’t feel like he’s had to work a day in his life.
