Esteban Powell: @AETelevision ...life challenging experiences to be a part of something that reaches out to people in a way that television SHOULD

AETelevision: @estebanics What made you decide to take on this role? Was it an opportunity to show off your acting ability? Is there a personal reason?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision the reasons are VERY personal and so are the stories we tell. Some people think that the show is about addiction...

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision I feel it is more about the personal obstacles dealing with RECOVERY, for William, Melissa, Arnie Akani the kids

Esteban Powell: and if you HAVE TO be addicted to anything-and you have a choice-why not be addicted to helping others not kill themselves-I know this is...

Esteban Powell: a little grim to say but-it is something we try and discuss and present in a way that isnt degrading to the suffering ...

AETelevision: @estebanics What do you like to do in your spare time? Do you have any other talents or passions?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision Story telling is my deepest passion. Collaborative process is the most rewarding feeling. and I dabble in film and TV.

AETelevision: @estebanics What is the greatest challenge of playing such a conflicted character as Arnie?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision staying sane duh!

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision conflict is a driving factor I feel for alot of Arnie's decisions

AETelevision: @estebanics What kind of research did you do to "get into the head" of your character?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision I used my own experiences to try and relate as best as I could without endangering myself or others

AETelevision: @estebanics Who are some actors you hope to work with in the future?

Esteban Powell: estebanics@AETelevision there are quite a few of them both known and unknown. I could list names and whatnot but I would rather list qualities

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision Passionate but not overbearing. Open to suggestion. Being emotionally flexible, and understanding yourself.

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision and of course there is no substitute for life experience and an active imagination

AETelevision: @estebanics How do you like working with Benjamin Bratt; and how do you feel he portrays the actual character?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision I think Ben sets the bar for the flow of show, we all take our cues from him because he sets the example on set.

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision I think his ability to relate Warren Boyd's life stories and deliver with such an appeal is what makes him amazing to watch!!

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision -although if he twittered- I doubt I would be the only one to say so.... ; )

AETelevision: @estebanics Do people approach you with questions about addiction?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision I don't get questions about addictions as much as I get questions about the actions that addictions demonstrate

AETelevision: @estebanics How did you get your big break in Dazed and Confused?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision the short version: I showed up to a call, talked about real life, took a ride to Austin met some cool ass people, and....

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision totally changed my life forever!!!

AETelevision: @estebanics You grew up in Houston. Do you like living in LA or do you miss Texas?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision I love Texas!!!!! and Los Angeles is my home.

AETelevision: @estebanics What other projects are you working on?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision isnt that the proverbial question? LOL Ive got an amazing group of people that keep me very busy with fresh ideas and....

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision the most amazing support structure than I have ever had. There is plenty to do and the future is where Im livin.

AETelevision: @estebanics I read that you have a production company. What types of projects do you produce?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision I started out with kid stuff (online video content) and now Im more into reviving 8o's story driven action adventure...

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision I love greenscreens! Shake,FCP, bells and whistles, AE, 3d, air ramps, wire rigs, ray guns, Bad Guys and heroic characters

AETelevision: @estebanics How do you think you are like Arnie? How do you think you are different?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision Arnie is a character-in this we are alike. Arnie had problems with crank-in this we are different.

AETelevision: @estebanics Esteban, when do you think we will learn more about Arnie and his past?

Esteban Powell @AETelevision thats a JP question....ha

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision although I would recommend S1 and that lays the foundation for ALOT of the groundwork that will continue to play out

Esteban Powell: sometimes we dont get all the answers. sometimes we cant answer all the questions-and that IS life

AETelevision: @estebanics Esteban, what's it like working with Amy Price-Francis on The Cleaner?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision we dont have alot of work together, but her work demeanor is always warm and amazing and I feel an incredible actress!!

AETelevision: @estebanics Will Arnie and Akani grow closer? Is there a relationship possibility?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision that dynamic interests you does it..... HMMMMMM. :^P

AETelevision: @estebanics How much influence does Warren Boyd have on the show? It seems to be so truthful, I am curious if it is due to his input!

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision Warren is on a whole other level. and I cant speak for the show as well as I can speak for me. His life experiences are unparalleled.

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision UNPARALLELED-and INVALUABLE

AETelevision: @estebanics If you weren't an actor what would you be doing instead?

Esteban Powell: @AETelevision I dont tend to label myself an actor as much as I think of myself as just "creative"
