Joey Mazzilli began working part-time for his dad with the Runaway Squad while he was in college. He found the work especially appealing, and ultimately decided to go into the field. When he turned 25, he became a licensed Private Investigator. As part of the squad, Mazzilli has learned much from both his team members as well as the families they help. He can most often be found working behind the scenes, running the business side of operations.

He lives in New York City with his wife, they enjoy spending time with friends and going to restaurants and clubs around the city. His main interest is music and in particular electronic music production. He also likes to ski, play softball, exercise, and watch baseball and football.
