One of the show's original producers, Capella Fahoome worked with on-air hosts John Chester and Andre Miller for four years to help develop their grassroots mission for giving into an original, real-life TV series.
A creative and committed TV producer, Fahoome is a Detroit native and a graduate of the University of Michigan. Her passion and skills at organization and crew relations have fueled her success. She has served as producer, location manager, production manager, coordinator, and assistant director on a range of video and film projects, including national and regional television commercials, corporate image pieces, music videos, and documentaries.
In 1998, Fahoome started her own production company, Defining Entertainment, with a partner and $250. Within three years, Defining Entertainment had racked up sales of over $300,000 and was listed as one of Baltimore's top 10 production companies. Fahoome also worked with Chester, Jim Lefter, and Molly Schrek on the independent documentary Euphoria, which won a Gold Award at the 2005 Houston Film Festival.
Fahoome's role on Random 1® is cheerleader and gadfly. From her base in the RV studio, she solves problems and helps the team deliver on promises. Irritated by wasting time or acting without a plan, Fahoome is all about organization, which often puts her at odds with shoot-from-the-hip Miller. Fahoome may lay down the law, but she's the first to cry when the team hits the mark.
