The series follows Johnson as he tries to manage this cast of disparate assistants and exacting clients, all the while tackling a variety of interior design dilemmas with an eye for subtle sophistication. Best known for being a Super Bowl champion and All Pro wide receiver, NFL studio analyst and former "Best Dressed Man" of the year Keyshawn Johnson now adds Interior Designer to his long list of titles. During his eleven year career as an NFL wide receiver, Johnson played for the New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he won a Super Bowl Championship during the 2002-2003 season. He retired in 2007 with 814 receptions, 64 touchdowns and 10,571 yards recorded during his career. Away from the gridiron, Johnson heads up numerous business ventures including First Picks Management, a development company that focuses on franchise businesses in the foodservice and hospitality industries, as well as Keyshawn Capitol Development, a real estate company dealing with properties in the both the residential and commercial space.
With Tackling Design, Keyshawn showcases yet another one of his hidden talents and marks his place in the world of design and home furnishing. After many years of buying, renovating and selling homes as a hobby, Johnson will apply his love for furniture, fabric and finishings to real-life settings as he helps clients renovate areas of their homes that require a bit of a design flourish.
