Horatio Caine
Named after Horatio Alger, Caine is the supervisor at the Miami-Dade police department crime lab. With a background as a homicide detective, he currently serves as a forensic analyst specializing in arson. He has always been protective of his team and his crime lab Πand has a strict policy of firearm maintenance. Although he comes from a troubled family life, he is loved by his co-workers.
David Caruso
Initially a film actor, Caruso had a notable role as a street-wise cop in The King of New York. This brought him recognition and paved the way for his breakthrough role in NYPD Blue, where he played the role of Detective John Kelly to critical and audience appraisal. After a brief stint back in film, Caruso returned to TV with his role on CSI: Miami.
Caruso was born and raised in Queens, New York, and lives in Los Angeles and Miami. His birthday is January 7.
Eric Delko
Erik is the underwater recovery expert as well as the fingerprint and drug id specialist. He is a Miami native, and son of a Russian father and Cuban mother Πwhich is why he is fluent in both Spanish and Russian. He was good friends with Tim Speedle and is known for his valor.
Adam Rodriguez
Of Puerto Rican descent, Rodriguez tried out for the Cosby show as a child. He has appeared in a number of TV shows including NYPD Blue. He also starred in several music videos, most notably in Jennifer Lopez's "If You Had My Love" and 50 Cent's "Many Men".
Rodriguez divides his time between New York and Los Angeles. His birthday is April 2.
Calleigh Duquesne
With a degree in Physics and her fluency in Spanish, this Detective is up for any challenge. Despite having a troubled, alcoholic father who has nearly caused her to lose her job, she is still willing to help him. Although she always seems happy, she still wants to see the bad guys behind bars.
Emily Procter
Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, her father paid for her acting lessons in Los Angeles. She landed small parts in Jerry Maguire and Breastmen then got her breakout role in CSI: Miami. She enjoys poker and has played in at least one celebrity poker tournament. She is also an avid interior decorator.
Procter was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and lives in Los Angeles, where she supports charities that fight homelessness. Her birthday is October 8.
Dr. Alexx Woods
Dr. Woods is the medical examiner for the Miami Dade Police department who is known for her tendency to talk to the corpses in an endearing way. She is originally from New York and has two children. She is tight with the Detective Caine's investigators and is an avid leader in the fight against drunk driving.
Khandi Alexander
Born and raised in New York like the character she plays, she is multi-talented and has vast experience on Broadway. She also served as a choreographer on Whitney Houston's tour from 1989- 1992 before breaking into TV. She has appeared on NewsRadio and ER.
Ryan Wolfe
Wolfe had big shoes to fill as the replacement for the slain officer Tim Speedle. He has an undergrad degree in Chemistry, is pursuing an MA in Genetics and graduated at the top of his class from the Academy. He managed to get the job by catching Horatio's eye with his meticulous attention to detail and careful maintenance of his firearm.
Jonathan Togo
Togo attended Vasser and attained a degree in theatre. There, he was an avid musician and played in a band who's members went on to play in the band The Bravery. Before he starred in CSI, he acted in many plays and TV shows including Judging Amy and Law and Order.
Frank Tripp
Detective Tripp, originally from Texas, has a great working relationship with all the members of the CSI Team. His dreams of being a firefighter as a child were literally crushed when his leg was shattered in a car accident. He started reading, and soon became fascinated with crime fighting which eventually led him to his current job.
Rex Linn
After initially being discouraged from acting in high school and working as a banker, he later decided that the acting bug was too much and switched careers. He moved out to LA and faced an uphill battle. He landed small roles eventually capturing a breakout role in Cliffhanger. Since then, he continues to thrive in the LA acting world.
Natalia Boa Vista
Natalia is a DNA expert with a secret to keep. Her abusive relationship with her husband leads to problems in her role at CSI, but it's nothing she can't overcome.
Eva LaRue
Eva has been an acclaimed actor in Hollywood for sometime starring in All My Children as well as composing an award winning song for the same show. She is good friends with Sarah Michelle Gellar and has co-hosted the Miss America Pageant.
