Growing up in the pre-Revolutionary War town of Hummelstown, PA, Keith Ori developed an appreciation for older houses at a young age. Keith first got involved in house rehabbing in 2002 when he bought a second house for his family and kept the first home as a rental. He rehabbed the house himself, giving him the confidence to pursue other rentals and rehabs. He survived the housing collapse in 2008 by starting a company that prepared foreclosed houses for resale, handling 3,000 houses in 18 months. Since getting back into flipping, Keith’s work on a historic zombie won him the City of Orlando’s 2013 Historic Preservation Award for Best Preservation, and he won the award a second time in 2017.
