When the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call from distraught former state trooper Daniel Howard reporting his wife Kendy’s suicide, detectives prepared to investigate one of their own. Howard told the investigators his wife had been severely depressed. Detectives learned the couple had been going through a bitter divorce and tensions were high. Now faced with a suspicious death, detectives must reconstruct the crime and confront Daniel Howard in an interview captured on bodycam footage at the scene to determine if he killed his spouse.
