On December 11, 2008, the remains of 2-year-old Caylee Anthony, were found inside a trash bag in a wooded area in Orlando, Florida near her family's home.
Casey Anthony, Caylee's mother, was charged in the case, but on July 5, 2011, was found not guilty of first-degree murder. She served a short time in jail on related misdemeanor counts and then was released. Still, years later, due to her behavior during the investigation, murder trial and post-trial, interest in her life remains high.
