“ALASKA STATE TROOPERS” RETURNS WITH AN ALL-NEW SEASON OF THE LONG-RUNNING SERIES COMING TO A&E BEGINNING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 7 AT 8PM ET/PT
New York, NY – December 8, 2025 — A&E announced today that the network will premiere an all-new season of the long-running documentary series, “Alaska State Troopers.” The series, which ran for eight seasons on cable from 2009-2015, gives an inside look at the law enforcement teams who serve and protect the communities in Alaska’s vast territory. The new season of “Alaska State Troopers” premieres Wednesday, January 7th at 8pm ET/PT on A&E.
In America’s largest and wildest state, just 400 Alaska State Troopers are responsible for patrolling hundreds of miles in Fairbanks and the Mat-Su Valley and serve more than 230 remote villages only reachable by boat or plane. From the endless light of summer to the deep freeze of winter, each one-hour episode captures these men and women as they patrol the vast frontier by land, sea, and air. Alaska is the final stop for fugitives on the run, where danger is vast, distances are brutal, and backup can be hours away. From multi-agency criminal takedowns to life-saving search and rescue missions, the series showcases a range of calls Alaska State Troopers face that are as immense and unpredictable as the state itself.
A+E Global Media holds worldwide distribution rights for the new season of “Alaska State Troopers.” The premiere of the series on A&E is the first project from executive producer Anna Rodzinski’s Anusia Films.
“Alaska State Troopers” is produced by Anusia Films for A&E with Anna Rodzinski serving as executive producer for Anusia Films. Sean Gottlieb and Maitee Cueva serve as executive producers for A&E.
The new season of “Alaska State Troopers” will be available on demand and to stream on the A&E App and aetv.com with the full library of previous seasons also available.
