In 2008, A&E launched The Recovery Project to generate awareness that addiction is a treatable disease and recovery is possible. More than 5,000 people attended the first annual Recovery Rally in NYC. Our goal this year is to double the attendance! Together, we can make a difference.

A&E continues its ongoing commitment to taking a real look at crime and justice with powerful series like THE FIRST 48, CRIME 360, SWAT, Cold Case Files, and American Justice as well as new and upcoming series Jacked: Auto Theft Task Force and Manhunters.



A&E is proud to announce a partnership with The Innocence Project, a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing and reforming the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.

The Peopling of America Center Ellis Island's historic Great Hall, Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne joined The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, Inc. and the National Park Service in unveiling the plans for a significant expansion of the Ellis Island Immigration Museum to be called The Peopling of America® Center.
