Amy Wilcox from Crazy Hearts: Nashville

Amy Wilcox

Amy Wilcox started her career as a professional singer about three years ago. Born in Oklahoma and raised in Virginia, she came to Nashville to kick-start her career. Amy grew up performing in church and continued on a musical path through college, joining various a-capella groups. She played Division 1 soccer at Vanderbilt University, and jumped right back into her true passion for music after she graduated. Amy sang with cover bands at local honky-tonks and had the opportunity to open for “American Idol” contestant Kellie Pickler this past summer. As she looked out at the crowd from onstage, she knew she was doing exactly what she loves. Amy sees herself as a touring artist in the upcoming years as well as being established in the songwriting community.
