The orange groves seen in "Doppelganger" are actually part of the Bob Roth New River Grove which was converted into Lawson Groves for this episode. The Roth family appeared in "Doppelganger" with Bob Roth driving a tractor and his daughter Lisa working behind a counter.
The Dellarosa Hotel is an old historic Hollywood Beach hotel built in 1926 and was host to many mobsters in its day, including Al Capone and Meyer Lansky, and rumored to be a hideaway of Bugsy Siegel.
The big dog that Daniel sees at the station was one of the pups in the movie Marley & Me, which was also filmed in South Florida.
The sunsets shots that featured a stumbling drunk man were actually filmed in the morning at Oleta State Park in Miami. The moonlight on the water was created by grips and lighting grips using a condor lift and twin high power lights.
