In a quiet suburb of Birmingham, AL an unidentified man is found dead in an alley--the victim of a hit and run. On the scene detectives find a piece of the car that ran over the victim. With information obtained from the car part and a lead provided by an eye-witness detectives are left to uncover the identity of the victim and his killer. And, in DeKalb County, a 24-year-old man is shot to death in his apartment during a drug deal. When a canvas provides no clues detectives turn to the victim's cell phone to point them in the direction of the killer.
