Detective Pam Childs

It was the female detective shows of the 1970s that inspired Pam Childs to become a police officer. “When I was a kid, I used to watch Pam Grier movies, and I thought she was a really cool detective,” she says. “She inspired me to become what I am today.” Childs joined the force in 1992 and was a youth services investigator before joining Missing Persons. In her spare time, Det. Childs dotes on her two grandsons.
