Detective Nari Isakson

For Nari Isakson, the Chicago Police Department runs deep in her blood: her father, uncle, brother, and brother-in-law are all cops. She joined the force in 1999 and started working Missing Persons in 2008. “Somebody who’s missing isn’t there to talk to you, but their life is in your hands,” she says. “Every minute that goes by is time lost.” Nari is famous with her fellow officers for her two-hour “Insanity” workout sessions at the gym. Her dedication and fiery spirit more than make up for her small stature.
