Detective Joe Struck

Joe Struck has been a Chicago Police officer since 1990. As a detective, he worked homicide for 12 years, then moved to Missing Persons in 2008. He likes this assignment because unlike homicide, he actually has a chance to find his victims alive. Struck is on call as a member of a heavy weapons rapid response team. He’s an avid hunter and scuba diver. Fellow officers constantly comment on his driving style, which he describes as “fast…but safe.”
