Sergeant Jeffrey Coleman

An injury on the college gridiron scuttled Sergeant Jeffrey Coleman’s dreams of the NFL, but set him on a path to his true calling. Coleman took his engineering degree to Chicago, where police work seemed the best combination of his athletic talent and analytical mind. Coleman caught the eye of a former police superintendent, and joined his security detail. He credits that work with his ability to navigate almost any situation. Coleman loves family, football and the force but can’t wait to retire to Georgia with his wife, where he intends to plant a garden and “watch other people catch the bad guys.”
