Detective Bill Joyner

Bill Joyner grew up on Chicago's south side. He attended Howard University, then returned home and joined the CPD to serve the community in which he was raised. He became a detective in 1998. Sgt. Coleman jokes that Joyner's years on the job are finally showing some results. In his spare time, Joyner likes to bowl and plays a mean game of ping-pong.
