We start the day with a fitting of our other transsexual character, (OH, you thought there was just one!) who is played by a young black actor Jazzmun. He plays a secretary and because he is smaller I have bought his clothes off the rack. Jazzmun is a doll, and the fitting goes very smoothly.

Costumes are tagged for several characters and pulled from alterations. Last minute earrings and sox and handbags are bought to finish off some changes. Everything is bagged and tagged and put on the trailer. The changes are shown to the set costumers and all details are discussed. Wear this shirt open. Roll up his sleeves. Let her choose which earrings she likes, etc. etc. etc.

We are all very tired from a very intense week of non-stop stress and racing around. As I leave my studio for the weekend I wonder how my transsexual actor will look with his wig and make-up and my wardrobe. Will it all work? I have to wait till Monday to find out.
