In “Storage Wars: Texas,” A&E’s top-rated non-fiction franchise heads to the Lone Star state to follow teams of bidders on their quest for auction gold.
The series returns for a second season with brand-new buys, all-new finds, and a few new faces. In season two, "The Rangers" Ricky and Bubba aim to expand their franchise across the great state of Texas. New buyer Jenny Grumbles enters the fray using her southern wits to revive old furniture for massive payouts. Vic "The Outsider" tries to destroy his competition by turning Bubba against Ricky. And Dr. Moe Prigoff looks to his old friend Mary Padian to save him from his newfound hoarding problem. Mannequins to motorcycles, swords to solar panels - these buyers are takin' care of bid-ness.
“Storage Wars: Texas” is produced by Original Productions, a FremantleMedia Company for A&E Network. Executive producers are Thom Beers and Philip D. Segal. Jeff Conroy is co-executive producer and Steve Robillard is series producer. A&E executive producers are David McKillop, Elaine Frontain Bryant and Fred Grinstein.
When storage units are abandoned in the great state of Texas, the treasures within are put up for auction." That opening narration from Storage Wars Texas sets up the real drama of the show: the battle between a colorful cast of characters to get the greatest return on their investment as they buy the contents of these abandoned storage units. The catch? They only get 5 minutes to inspect the contents and can only see what's visible from the opened storage unit door; they can't sort through it. This unpredictability - combined with the personalities - make for some of the greatest nail biting moments on TV!
Premiere Date : Sep 2, 2013
