A&E's original real life series Shipping Wars is back for Season 4 with new teams of shippers joining in on the auction, the action, and the accidents that are just waiting to happen!
This season, Marc, Jarrett, Jennifer, Roy, Chris and Robbie return, and as always, no shipment is too strange or too problematic for these professionals to handle...but handling the new competition that is trying to break in to the bidding wars is a different story! Three new teams of shippers will emerge at the auctions to challenge the regulars for the available loads, and it is definitely time to buckle up for some drama!
The new shipping teams that will be appearing this season include Courtney and Chelsea, Johnny, and Kourtney and Tish. Rookie movers Courtney and Chelsea may look like a pair of party girls, but their blonde hair and good looks are deceiving. The longtime friends grew up in a small country town raising livestock, working on ranches, and getting their hands dirty, and they are not afraid of hard work, heavy lifting, and long drives. For veteran driver Johnny, shipping is in his blood. He knew that truck driving would be his career since he was a little boy, and nearly forty years later, he is still happy behind the wheel making extremely difficult shipments. Kourtney and Tish, a self-proclaimed power couple, have only a little over a year of experience in the shipping business, but Kourtney's past as a UFC boxing champion has them ready to try to knock out the competition!
Shipping Wars dives into the cutthroat world of heavy-duty independent movers as they battle for the chance to transport items that traditional carriers won't touch. The competition begins with uShip, the world's largest online marketplace for independent truckers. Every day, thousands of shipments are put up for auction. The battle is fierce as the shippers have only minutes to bid, and the lowest bidder gets the load. From oversized items and bulky packages to the truly bizarre, they will haul anything if the price is right!
Shipping Wars is produced by Megalomedia for A&E Network. Executive producer is Jonathan Nowzaradan. Co-executive producers are Tom Mireles, Jeff Keels and Graham Davidson. A&E executive producers are David McKillop, Elaine Frontain Bryant, and Devon Graham.
