2 ½ cups flour
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 cup dark brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat the oven to 300° F.
With a wire whisk, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, blend dark brown and white sugars with an electric mixer. Add in butter and mix until it forms a grainy paste. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until light and fluffy.
Add in flour mixture and chocolate chips. Do not overmix.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Transfer cookies to a wire rack for cooling.
