Greg and Carol's home is a mishmash of unfinished projects and sorely needed upgrades. And Carol, suffering with MS, can't help Greg with the repairs. They need to downsize, but there's no chance of selling the house in its current state. Designer Daniel Kucan comes to the rescue with plans to add some Northwest zen to the place with an open floor plan, sleek new design, and a backyard facelift. And builder Charlie Frattini brings the walls down and puts new cabinets up. Can they turn the old house into a show-stopper?
