A&E Network "Rock and Rollergirls" Sweepstakes
OFFICIAL RULES

1. ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  Void in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. Open only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of date of entry.  Employees of A&E Television Networks ("Sponsor"), Civic Entertainment Group, LLC ("Administrator"), Trans World Entertainment, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible.  Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 AM (ET) on December 26, 2005 and ends at 11:59 PM (ET) on January 28, 2006 ("Promotion Period").


2. TO ENTER:  There is only one way to enter this sweepstakes.  Visit www.aetv.com/rollergirls between 9:00 AM (ET) on December 26, 2005 and 11:59 PM (ET) on January 28, 2006.  Click on the sweepstakes link and follow the on-screen directions, entering all requested information.  Limit one entry per person, per household, per day (24 hour period). Any person who attempts to participate with multiple email addresses, under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter multiple times in a 24 hour period will be disqualified.  Use of robotic, programmed, automated or like methods of entry is prohibited. By entering the Sweepstakes online, participants acknowledge that they are aware of and agree with the Sponsor's privacy policy located at: http://www.aetv.com/feedback/privacy.html.


3. RANDOM DRAWING: Winners will be selected in a random drawing to be conducted on or about January 30, 2006, from among all eligible entries received by Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this sweepstakes.  Grand Prize winner will be notified by phone on or after January 30, 2006 and thereafter confirmed by mail.  Winners of First and Second Prizes will be notified by phone or mail, or email approximately (7) business days after drawing. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.


4. PRIZES: Grand Prize (1): Rock and Rollergirls Vacation for winner and up to nine (9) guests  (Approximate Retail Value $33,185.00).  First Prize (25): Giftcards from FYE; giftcards are subject to terms and conditions of use as stated thereon.  Approximate retail value of each First Prize is $25.  Second Prize (100) A&E Rollergirls related merchandise.  Approximate retail value of each Second Prize is $15.  Grand Prize trip departs on March 16, 2006 and returns on March 19, 2006 (4-days/3-nights) to Austin, TX, consisting of round-trip coach air transportation, for up to ten people, from a major gateway airport near Grand Prize winner's residence (Sponsor's choice), ground transportation to and from the Austin airport, standard hotel accommodations based on double occupancy (Sponsor's choice of hotel), up to ten (10) music registration badges, valid for attendance at music performances at South by Southwest (SXSW), on March 16, 2006 and March 17, 2006, up to ten (10) tickets to an A&E Rollergirls Party, up to ten (10) A&E Rollergirls related merchandise, and a total of $1000 spending money.   Spending money will be awarded to Grand Prize winner only, as cash, traveler's checks or as a gift card, at Sponsor's sole discretion. Grand Prize winner must be available to take trip March 16 - March 19, 2006; if winner is unavailable to travel on dates of trip, Grand Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
   
   Prizes are nontransferable. Grand Prize trip is also subject to availability and other restrictions.  If Winner (of any prize) is unable to accept prize for any reason, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.  All expenses not specified in these Official Rules, including without limitation, meals, taxes, incidentals and other expenses, are the winner's (and guests') sole responsibility.  If Grand Prize winner lives within 150 miles of Austin, ground transportation between winner's residence and hotel shall be provided to winner and his/her guests, instead of air transportation.  Grand Prize winner will not receive any compensation if actual retail value of trip is less than projected approximate retail value. If Grand Prize winner has less than (9) guests accompany him/her on trip, winner understands and agrees that the number of music registration badges, tickets to the A&E Rollergirls Party and A&E Rollergirls gifts that Sponsor is obligated to provide as part of the Grand Prize shall be equal to the number of persons actually traveling on trip (i.e., the winner and all guests); and, air transportation, ground transportation and hotel accommodations will only be awarded in amounts appropriate for the indicated number of persons traveling; and, that no compensation shall be provided for any such unawarded prize components. Each guest of Grand Prize winner must be 18 years of age or older.  Taxes are the sole responsibility of prize winner. Grand Prize Winner and all guests must travel on same itinerary, as set by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Limit one prize per household. 
      


5. GENERAL RULES:  Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of New York, with venue and jurisdiction in New York County, NY and all claims must be resolved in the courts located in New York County, NY.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected e-mail, for any technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone lines, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for any damage to any participant's computer system/software related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this promotion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. If for any reason the promotion is canceled, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes outside control of Sponsor which impair or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this promotion, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the sweepstakes. In the event of termination, a notice will be posted on the promotional website and a random drawing will be held from all eligible non-suspect entries received prior to the time of termination. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the entry (authorized account holder being the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address). Potential Grand Prize winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Release of Publicity (where legal) within 3 days of date indicated on notification materials in order to claim prize and to permit his/her name to be announced as the Grand Prize winner on a forthcoming episode of "Rollergirls;" failure to do so may result in disqualification with an alternate winner being selected except where prohibited by law.  Noncompliance within the above-indicated time period may result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. Each guest of Grand Prize Winner must sign and return a release of liability/release of publicity (where legal) prior to issuance of travel documents. Grand Prize Winner will be issued an IRS 1099 Income Tax Form in the amount of the Actual Retail Value of any prize accepted over $600. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate will be selected. All prizes will be awarded.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize or prize component of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability of prize/prize component for any reason. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to Sponsor and its agencies to use winner's name, voice and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. By accepting prize, winners agree to hold A&E Television Networks, Civic Entertainment Group, LLC, Trans World Entertainment, their affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies, their respective officers, employees, directors, and representatives harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize or participation in sweepstakes. Sponsor not responsible for typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prizes. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
