"I don't have a problem with authority. I just have a problem with people telling me what to do," says Punky Bruiser. Sporting a bit of attitude, she is known for being a tough competitor. When it comes to the rink, she's one of the first to start the trash talking. She's also not afraid to back up her words with actions. "I say hi to my friends by getting into fights," she says.

Outside of the rink, it's a different story for Punky Bruiser. While roller derby has definitely boosted her confidence, she still feels a bit lost. She's working as waitress and has a part-time gig at a clothing store, but doesn't really know what she wants to do with her life.

The Holy Rollers
Although they are the current league champions, no one except the Holy Rollers themselves think they deserve that heavenly title. The consensus of the other teams around the league is that the Holy Rollers are a bunch of cheating crybabies who will do anything to win. While they are largely well liked off the track, on the track the Holy Rollers are the most despised team in the league.
