A shining star of the league, Sister Mary Jane lives quite a double life. By day, she's a special education teacher in an elementary school. At night, she becomes a competitive powerhouse in the rink. The sport has definitely changed her.  "I came in as an athlete and roller derby taught me to be an exhibitionist." Still she feels she brings a bit of the teacher in her to every bout, encouraging her team to make the grade.

A roller derby veteran, Sister Mary Jane has been thinking about life after the sport. She's been contemplating hanging up her skates and heading to Hawaii with her new boyfriend.

The Holy Rollers
Although they are the current league champions, no one except the Holy Rollers themselves think they deserve that heavenly title. The consensus of the other teams around the league is that the Holy Rollers are a bunch of cheating crybabies who will do anything to win. While they are largely well liked off the track, on the track the Holy Rollers are the most despised team in the league.
