The Partnership for a Drug-Free America

The Partnership for a Drug-Free America is a nonprofit organization with more than 20 years of experience educating kids, teens, parents and communities about the risks and consequences of alcohol and drug abuse and the benefits of living drug-free. Best known for its research-based national public education programs, the Partnership motivates and equips parents to prevent their children from using drugs and alcohol, and to find help and treatment for family and friends in trouble.

The Partnership's online resource center at drugfree.org, features interactive tools that translate the latest science and research on teenage behavior, addiction and treatment into easy to understand tips and tools. At drugfree.org, parents can connect with each other, tap into expert advice for children of all ages, and find the support they want and need to raise healthy families.

Time To Talk®

Time To Talk® is the Partnership's nationwide movement that reinforces the huge influence parents have in helping children make healthy choices. Research shows that kids who consistently learn a lot about the risks of drugs at home are up to 50% less likely to use than those who do not.

Talking with your kids about the risks of drugs and alcohol isn't as hard as you think. The Partnership helps make the conversation even easier with free, research-based tools and tips to help you have ongoing discussions with your kids to keep them healthy and drug-free.
