3 Important Business Tips from Brandi Passante of Storage Wars

Savvy Storage Wars star and small business owner Brandi Passante knows the blood, sweat, and tears it takes to create a successful company. Along with husband and co-star Jarrod Schultz, Brandi owns and operates Now and Then Second Hand Store. Here Brandi gives three important tips for starting a business.

1. Make sure you have at least enough money to pay for at least six months' worth of personal expenses before starting a business. New businesses generally don't make money in the first year – you have to be prepared for that!
2. Make sure you have no other commitments. Your business should consume your entire life! If it is going to succeed, you should make it your # 1 priority.
3. Be sure that you are ready and capable of being someone's boss. Do not take this lightly. It is a difficult job that most people think will be simple, but I assure you it is NOT! This can make or break your business.
