If you're looking for an iconic band who knows how to rock and roll all night and party everyday, music fans worldwide know it's KISS. KISS is regarded as one of the most influential rock and roll bands of all-time and holds honors as one of America's top gold record champions, recording 36 albums over 35 years and selling over 75 million albums worldwide. The band has also broken box office records set by legendary Elvis Presley and the Beatles.

Rock star, pop icon and famed bassist Gene Simmons co-founded KISS 35 years ago and is often credited as the main force behind turning KISS into a mega-dollar-generating, merchandising machine selling everything from KISS postage stamps to KISS themed lunchboxes, dolls and even a KISS Visa card.

In addition to his blood-spitting, fire-breathing and tongue-wagging performances in KISS, Gene Simmons has left his mark on the music industry in many other significant ways including discovering Van Halen and briefly managing the recording career of Liza Minnelli. However, Simmons' accomplishments are not limited to the music industry. In fact, he has tried his hand at acting on the big screen in several films and TV shows since the 1980s and in the past decade has created Nickelodeon's My Dad the Rock Star cartoon and Oxygen's Mr. Romance.

To conquer all areas of media, Simmons has published comic books, his own magazine, Gene Simmons Tongue, and is also a New York Times best-selling author of two books, "Kiss and Make-Up" and "Sex, Money, KISS" and a LA Times best selling author of "Ladies of the Night" Simmons is also partnered with Rich Abramson in the Simmons Abramson Marketing venture, which does exclusive worldwide branding/marketing for the Indy Racing League, including the fabled Indy 500.

Since 2006, this renowned ladies man, but also the kind of dad who brings Gatorade to his daughter's soccer games and stands in the front row when his son's rock band plays gigs, has revealed another layer of himself in his hit reality show on A&E Gene Simmons Family Jewels. The super-successful program, now about to launch its 4th season, follows the life of Simmons with his long-time partner Shannon Tweed and their two children Nick and Sophie.
