Hawk – Hawk’s Towing, Trenton, NJ
- Born and raised in Trenton, NJ
- He bought his first tow truck at age 17 and went into business for himself. He now owns 18 trucks.
- His wife Cindy also works at the lot.
- Names of his tow trucks: Bad Behavior, Bad Influence, Bad Attitude
- Has 5 sons – his oldest, 18 year old “Little Hawk” drives a tow truck for him
- Has elaborate customized tow trucks that he shows in competitions
Johnny – Larosa Collision, The Bronx, NY
- Has been towing since 1997
- Loves the Bronx where he was born, raised and still lives
- The first time he took a ride in friend’s tow truck he fell in love with the job.
- Left larger towing company to open his own place 5 years ago
- Married with 5 children – his wife is partner in the business
- Has guard-dog at the lot named Beauty
Joe – Breen Brothers, Staten Island, NY
- Co-own the business with three other brothers
- Brothers maintain a memorial for their brother Robbie who died at age 16
- Grew up in the towing business
- His grandfather and great uncle started Breen Brothers auto repair at a gas station in the 70s.
- Hobby: Mixed Martial Arts fighting
- Would rather his young daughter become a doctor than a tow truck driver
Mike – Breen Brothers, Staten Island, NY
- Co-own the business with three older brothers. He says “we fight hard, but we love harder.”
- Favorite game as kids was “Kill the Man on the Dirt-bike” where they knocked each other off the bike
- Recently married, decorated the biggest tow truck for the wedding
- Favorite tow: heavy duty wrecks
- Nicknamed "Mikey Crash" — every new tow truck gets at least one dent from him.
- Mom is the boss — they call her The General
JoJo – Breen Brothers, Staten Island, NY
- Known all over Staten Island as “Uncle JoJo”
- Has been towing cars for 15 years
- Had major motorcycle accident and couldn’t walk for a couple of years
- Doesn’t back down from physical confrontation
- Favorite quote: "Ain't no thing but a chicken wing"
- Hobbies: MMA fighting, weightlifting, taking cars
- Favorite signature drink: Coco Loso and a Shark Bite
