Jen, a study of popular culture, and Ryan, and art director for video games, have outgrown their one-bedroom apartment and are buying their first home together. We're taking care of their entire move, and our designer Roger Hazard is charged with figuring out how to best make use of the space in the new home. Can Roger design their new place to reflect their eclectic interests without bringing along all of their stuff? And when he threatens to send some of their favorite things to storage for the year, he faces some feisty opposition from both Ryan and Jen, who are very attached to everything. Fortunately, host Tanya Memme goes to bat for the stuff they simply can't see parting with. Soon, Roger's hard at work designing the new space, using the couple's interest in modern design and their art deco books as his inspiration.
