Hope for RecoveryWebinar with A&E Network and The Partnership at Drugfree.org

The Medicine Abuse Project The Partnership at drugfree.org ONDCP
  • Every day, more than 2,000 kids use a prescription medicine to get high for the first time.
  • Rx medicines are now the most commonly abused drugs among 12 to 13 year olds.
  • Unintentional drug poisoning is now the leading cause of accidental death in US — 70 deaths/day — surpassing car crashes.

As part of The Medicine Abuse Project launch in September, 2012, The Partnership at Drugfree.org and A&E teamed to host a national online educational initiative and call-to-action to help prevent medicine abuse through a live webinar.
