Heroin abuse in Chicago's affluent suburbs is reaching epidemic proportions, and the area's Eisenhower Expressway has become known as the "Heroin Highway" for all the smack that flows through it. We look at the lives of three addicts who have been caught up in clutches of what is increasingly a middle class nightmare: Kesha, who's newly sober but dealing with the wreckage that years of addiction have caused; Josh, who's checking into detox for what he hopes is the last time; and Matt, who's struggling to stay clean while waiting for a bed in a halfway house.

Intervention In-Depth: Hillbilly Heroin

Scioto County, Ohio, is on the DEA list of top 10 places for prescription pill trafficking. The county has seen a 360 percent increase in fatal drug overdoses, with nine of every 10 of those deaths attributable to prescription painkillers. Dealers gets their pills from "pill mills," cash-only clinics that dispense prescription painkillers in mass quantities. We show how prescription drugs, especially "Hillbilly Heroin," the street name for Oxycodone, are devastating the region, and take viewers inside the pill mills with undercover cameras to expose the deadly business.

Intervention In-Depth: Pregnant and Addicted

We go to the Nexus Recovery Center in Dallas, Tex., to follow the gripping stories of four women who are struggling with both addiction and motherhood. Viewers meet Chenera, who is five months pregnant and whose drug addiction may force authorities to take away the two children she already has; Amanda, the mother of a two-month-old baby who is fighting to stay away from fast money and hard drugs; Kally, eight months pregnant and trying to stay clean as her due date nears; and Lorena, who got high on Meth throughout her pregnancy and prays that she hasn't harmed her fetus. Follow Lorena right up to the dramatic moment of birth when she learns whether her baby is all right.
