Corrine

Corinne is a pretty 18 year-old blonde girl who was an honor roll student, star athlete and played the clarinet and saxophone. She started using drugs at 14 after being sexually abused by a neighborhood boy who babysat her. Still striving to move forward while battling her addictions, she completed her GED and began college, finishing two semesters before dropping out. Now, Corinne has become addicted to a deadly combination of heroin and crystal meth. Corinne likes the "speedball effect" -- the dangerous result of overlapping meth and heroin usage. Corinne is also a diabetic who requires insulin, but she often skips her doses because she is so high. After repeated trips to the emergency room, her family is expecting, any minute, to hear that they've lost her for good.

Gabe

With an I.Q. of 156, Gabe had a promising future. He reached college during his teens and taught chemistry at UCLA, even incorporating rap into his lectures. Today, Gabe lives in a motel room paid for by his parents who have already given up tens of thousands of dollars and even their own home to pay off his gambling debts. Now his loved ones are coming together for an intervention.

Alyson

Alyson, a three-time White House intern and an award-winning student, met a boy in college who initiated her into drugs. She is addicted to morphine and crack and has returned to live with her parents. She has no relationship with her sister Cara, with whom she was once very close. Her sister doesn't trust her, respect her, or want to see her. She is resentful because Alyson's drug use is consuming the family. It is risking her life and her father's life. This family is in serious crisis and feel an intervention is their only hope for Alyson.
