Lacey grew up in a small town in Utah. Her mother and grandmother are also artists. Although she never had any formal training, Lacey's inherited passion for art led her to discover body modifications. She got her first tattoo at 17 and, while receiving that tattoo, saw a female tattoo artist in the shop. Just watching that woman artist inspired Lacey to become a tattoo artist as well. At 19, she began an apprenticeship in a professional shop. By now, Lacey has been working as an artist for almost ten years.
