“This experience not only made me a healthier person but a stronger husband and father for my family. I look forward to sharing this experience with my community and help change not only my life and my families lives but also inspire those in my community who have the same food addiction problem I have.”

Mark grew up in the "ideal" family until the age of 16 when his grandfather died and family secrets were revealed and things began to fall apart. His father's side of the family wouldn't even speak to him, causing great emotional distress. Mark was in great shape in the Army but a serious case of post-traumatic stress disorder caused him to gain an incredible amount of weight. Mark just got married and his honeymoon was nearly cut short due to a serious cellulitis infection that landed him in the hospital, thinking he was about to die. His mother and father sat in the same room for the first time in 20 years to support him in his weight loss endeavor. Recently married and with a baby on the way, Mark needs to lose weight so he can be a good father to his unborn child and a stable husband to his wife.
