“I am so lucky to have had this opportunity to start my journey on loving and accepting myself and knowing that I am strong and deserving of a healthy and long life.”

Growing up as a big girl, Jill used food to bond with her father and became caught in a vicious cycle of sneaking food and eating to feel better. Now she eats secretly, going so far as to carry cash so that her eating won't show up on the debit card. A second grade teacher, Jill loves kids more than anything in the world and she and her husband Clint are desperately trying to have a baby, but her doctor told her she was "too fat to get pregnant." Guilty that her food addiction has prevented her from achieving the one thing she wants the most, to have a child, Jill is desperate to lose weight.
