Shannon Tweed

Canadian born Shannon Tweed was raised on a mink ranch in Newfoundland. Imported by Playboy as Miss November 1981, she was named Playmate of the Year in 1982, as well as Hugh Hefner's love interest. Soon Shannon was appearing as a regular on CBS's Falcon Crest, NBC's Days of Our Lives, HBO's First and Ten and the WB's Tom Arnold Show and My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star with Oliver Hudson. Shannon has guest starred on a range of shows, including Fantasy Island, Frasier, Married with Children and Wings. Her autobiography, Kiss and Tell, was published in August of 2006. When she's not in front of the camera you'll find her running at fitness club Burn 60 in Brentwood, California or commuting to her second home in Whistler, British Columbia.

After living "Happily Unmarried" to her spousal equivalent of 28 years, Gene Simmons, and having two children, Nick and Sophie, Shannon and Gene were married on October 1, 2011 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
