Gene Simmons
Gene Simmons was born in Haifa, Israel in 1949 and is the only child of his mother, a German Nazi Concentration Camp survivor. He has always attributed his ethics, morals and drive to his mother’s notion’s about life. “Every day above ground, is a good day,” his mother is apt to say. Every day above ground, indeed.
Shannon Tweed
Canadian born Shannon Tweed was raised on a mink ranch in Newfoundland. Imported by Playboy as miss November 1981, she was named Playmate of the Year in 1982, as well as Hugh Hefner’s love interest. Soon Shannon was appearing as a regular on CBS’s Falcon Crest, NBC’s Days of Our Lives, HBO’s First and Ten and, more recently, WB’s Tom Arnold Show and My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star with Oliver Hudson.
Nick Tweed-Simmons
Twenty-year-old Nick Tweed-Simmons is the son of Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed. He was born on Jan 22, 1989. When college is not in session, he lives in Los Angeles with his parents and sister Sophie.
Sophie Tweed-Simmmons
Sixteen-year-old Sophie Tweed-Simmons is the daughter of Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed. This stunning young lady was born on July 7, 1992 and lives in Beverly Hills with her parents and brother Nick.
Snippy Tweed-Simmons
Snippy (a mixed breed), the alpha dog, was adopted almost a decade ago after Shannon saw her at a roadside pet rescue and she reminded her of her childhood dog, Lassie. She was eating out of garbage cans, Shannon recalls, noting that the dog’s tag said her name was Peanut.
