Scott Yancey is the founder of Goliath Company. He’s a full time real estate investor, writer and educator.
Scott’s never been one for the passenger seat. Whether he’s driving a high-performance car out at the racetrack or driving a smart investment forward, he’s always most comfortable with his hands on the steering wheel.
This forward momentum is the product of his strong work ethic and his commitment to getting the job done, no matter what it takes. It’s a philosophy that’s served him well throughout his more than 20 years in the real estate industry.
His career began with a very successful land development firm. He started as a runner and a land scout and worked his way through the learning curve. This depth of experience also created a depth of understanding, which ultimately enabled him to strike out on his own and form Goliath Company. His first employers were also his first investors – and still are to this day.
When Scott’s not typically working as late as 8 or 10 p.m., you could find him occasionally in his Porsche on a race track somewhere in the West. He also has a vacation home in Cabo San Lucas – something he’d enjoy more if he ever happened to take a vacation.
