Kristen Bredehoeft

Kristen is a gorgeous single mom with three kids and a keen eye for real estate. She brings her own experience of flipping houses to the team, and with her commission on the line, she’s not about to let the Hantz brothers step out of line. It’s Kristen’s job to seal the deal and she’ll use all her charms to get the job done.

If you weren't a real estate agent, what else would you do as a profession?

I would devote all of my time to expanding my nonprofit organization that helps people who are in need and less fortunate than me.

What's your go-to method of defusing a bad situation? Do you use it when Russell and Shawn get out of control?

I try to step back and access the situation in an objective way. I attempt to look at the situation logically rather than emotionally, and remain understanding of the other point of view. When Russell and Shawn get out of control, I am forced to use this method with them, coupled with the strategies I use with my young children.

What's the number one mistake you see homeowners make when they're trying to sell a house?

In my experience, the number one mistake homeowners make while trying to sell a house is not listen to their professional real estate agent concerning listing price. Some home owners focus on the sentimental value solely without taking the real estate market value into consideration. The house potentially could sit on market for an unnecessarily excessive amount of time.

What's the funniest thing you've had happen when trying to make a sale?

The funniest thing I have had happen in real estate was during the Red Ribbon cutting of my new real estate company. With a ton of professionals there to celebrate my success in real estate and the grand opening of Kristen Team Realty, a few guys drove by while honking horns, accompanied by one mooning us.
