Emily is the office manager and a funeral director in training. Emily is the youngest sister and still fairly new to the job. If the office wasn't stressful enough, she is in the process of separating from her husband and struggling for financial independence for her and her young son. She tackles these personal issues while learning to "get it right" in a business that affords little room for error. Emily is unsure about the future of working in a touchy family situation where she is caught between her father and her sisters.
