A&E's hit original series, Duck Dynasty, which follows the Monroe, Louisiana-based Robertson family as they approach business and life, is back for Season 6.
The Robertsons have built a multi-million dollar sporting empire manufacturing duck calls in Monroe, Louisiana and have earned a seat in homes across the country with their special brand of downhome practicality, southern charm and sharp sense of humor.
This season, the antics continue on cable's #1 unscripted show. Phil is more tangled in the never-ending battle with the beavers on his land than the family's multi-million dollar duck call business. Meanwhile, boss Willie is trying to keep everything afloat while managing brother Jase's deadpan humor alongside Uncle Si's backwoods philosophies. And outside of the family business, Miss Kay decides she has time to take up coupon-cutting while the whole family gathers around to cheer on Reed as he graduates from high school.
It can truly be said that the Robertsons are not your typical millionaires. The family literally went from rags to riches when family patriarch, Phil, developed a duck call made out of cedar from areas in and around his hometown of Monroe, Louisiana. This was back in 1973 and he founded a company called Duck Commander to produce and manufacture the calls. Skip ahead a couple decades and enter one of Phil's four sons, Willie. Sharing his family's passion for hunting and the outdoors, he used his degree in business - along with plenty of help from his family - to grow Duck Commander from a regional business into a national, multi-million dollar empire. So whether you're just a fan of hunting or inspired by this story of the American dream come true (or both), head over the Duck Dynasty Shop to pick up an array of memorabilia to show your fandom.
